As many know, the Board has taken steps to address our antiquated playground equipment and replace it with new, safe equipment that will last us 20 years into the future (at least!).
However, that cost is not cheap. We have received multiple proposals from various vendors and we are looking at a cost of at least $25k but more likely $30k - $35k after the dust settles and the playground meets ALL national safety standards.
To that end, one of our active volunteers, Toni Benton, has proposed a garage sale fundraiser with all proceeds going to the playground fund. Your participation is EASY! Just drop off any items you would like to have us sell at our community garage sale on 4/25 and all the proceeds go to the playground fund! All left over items will be donated to charity.
