We just recently completed our July meeting. Aside from the normal business, we also appointed 2 committe chairs to focus our attention on 2009 - an Annual Meeting Committee and a Nomination Committee.
Our annual meeting will most likely be held at the Clubhouse on November 11th @ 7p, the 2nd Tuesday of November. We'll catch you up-to-date on our finances, any challenges you should be aware of, and what has been accomplished ytd. We will also offer anecdotes on what to expect next year and of course we'll make our please for more volunteers.
What a great segue! Our nominating committee has also been set up and will be canvassing the neighborhood looking for volunteers to help us run the Association. Please don't shy away from serving on the BoD - it's an engaging, thoughtful experience that will reshape your views of how an Association meets the needs of residents in accordance with state and local laws. Volunteerism is the lifeblood of our community and helps us keep costs down, which in turn allows us to concentrate on improving infrastructure and squirreling away funds for the future.
